John James Audubon (1785-1851)

John James Audubon is a household name across America. No natural history collection would be complete without examples from Audubon’s “The Birds of America” and his animals, “ The Viviparous Quadrupeds of North America”. Both of these important works are beautiful examples of Audubon’s devotion and passion for nature. Through these works, he captured the living spirit and accurate settings of many species of birds and animals known to man. The gallery offers numerous antique prints from both collections. The following are examples from our ever changing inventory. Please call us for current inventory information.
