Based upon two earlier maps, those of
White (1590) and Le Moyne (1591). This
map became the most important type map
of the region until the Ogilby-Moxon
of 1672. One of the most beautiful maps
of the region. Highly decorative with
sea monsters, wild turkey, deer, and
native American figures. Villages of
Florida and Virginia are depicted in
the cartouche.
